Es ist vollbracht: Unser vierter Longplayer "Truck Tales" ist im Kasten! Wir blicken auf elf erfolgreiche, lustige aber auch anstrengende Tage zurück. Viele Gedanken über Musikvideos, Vertrieb, Promotion und Konzerte kreisen bereits durch unsere Köpfe. Doch erst mal haben wir auch Gelegenheit durchzuatmen. In der Lounge von Michael Wagener's Wireworld Studio nehmen wir für das gemeinsame Abschiedsfoto Aufstellung. Nicht fehlen darf natürlich der heimliche "Hausherr" Rocco: Ein sehr putziges Kerlchen auf vier Pfoten. Ein letztes mal geht's zum gemeinsamen Lunch, bevor wir glücklich aber auch ein klein wenig wehmütig die Tür von Michael's Studio hinter uns schließen.
Was erwartet unsere Fans auf dem kommenden Album? Zunächst einmal sind wir überzeugt davon, abermals das Allerbeste gegeben zu haben. Es sind zehn Songs enthalten, die unterschiedliche stilistische Ansätze aufweisen. Trotzdem klingt es zu jeder Sekunde typisch nach Sergeant Steel. Ist es retro? Ist es innovativ? Ist es nostalgisch? Ist es zeitgemäß? Wir sind überzeugt, dass "Truck Tales" vor allem eines ist: Gut, ja sogar sehr gut! Wir arbeiten jedenfalls mit Hochdruck an den Plänen für die Veröffentlichung einer Vorab-Single. 2020 wird das Jahr von "Truck Tales"!
Finally our fourth longplay record "Truck Tales" is done! We are looking back on ten succesful, funny yet exhausting days. We already make a lot of thoughts on music videos, sales, promotion and concerts. But now it's also time to catch a breath. A final photo is taken at the lounge of Michael Wagener's Wireworld studio. Of course it has to be taken with the secret "landlord" named Rocco: A cute little guy on paws. We go to lunch for the last time, before we close the doors of Michael's Wireworld studio behind us. We feel happy, but also a bit nostalgic.
What can our fans expect for the upcoming album? First of all, we believe that we have done the best tunes possible. It's ten songs follow different stylistic directions, but always sound typically Sergeant Steel. Is it retro? Is it innovative? Is it nostalgic? Is it contemporary? We think "Truck Tales" is particularly good, if not excellent. We are working hard on our plans for the release of the first single. 2020 is gonna be the year of "Truck Tales"!
